From... wherever I've been for the past week or so.
Basically, I entered a piece of art ("Back to the Stars", in my gallery) into an exhibition at a local gallery. Opening night (10th July) was quite full; it was an experience just to see my stuff sitting there and watch people wander over to look at it. I got a chance to talk to some of the other artists as well, which was great.
My art's for sale there; I'm not really expecting anyone to buy it... but it would be nice, you know? The exhibition goes on till 24th July, so I suppose there's still a chance!
Meanwhile... starting Monday I'll be working in a local hospital. Looking forward to it!
In other news, I'm writing again
So that's the superficial state of my life at the moment. Hope everyone's having an amazing summer/winter and making full use of the lovely sunshine/bitter cold! (Use of sun = go outside and frolic; use of cold = sit indoors and read. Yes.)

And enjoy working in the hospital

Good luck at your new job, too.

"Normal" is merely a polite term for boring.
Good luck with your hospital job!

What do you do with a B.A. in English, anyway?
